Mary inspires and trains care givers, loved ones, estate and financial planners how to easily and efficiently collect, organize and secure the most vital information most often required by physicians, hospitals, financial institutions, insurers, and yes, even utility companies. Mary urges people, of all ages, to become informed, to prepare for emergencies, long term care and end of life decisions by collecting, organizing and securing the required documents and personal information now, not later.

Several of Mary’s life experiences have led her to understand the importance of this task. Most notably, when her son died suddenly at the age of 24, Mary was 1,200 miles away.  She had to make immediate decisions while she was reeling from the shock of his death.  He did not have a will, advanced directives or a living will and she didn’t have access to any of this personal documents from which to gain insight about what he might want for himself.  In short, there had been no conversation or preparation.

She has been featured on the Hallmark Channel’s “What the Stuff” Baby Boomers show, the Denver Pieces magazine, and The Taos News, Innovators & Entrepreneur’s column. Mary has been a featured guest on E-Care Diary’s Blog Talk Radio Show.

A former educator and speech pathologist, Mary was a pioneer and expert in the field of assistive technology, technology specifically developed for individuals with disabilities and functional limitations.

She worked with Apple, IBM and served in senior management at the Prentke Romich Company and Intellitools. Mary participated in the writing of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Technology-Related Assistance Act (Tech Act) and to the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). Mary chaired a division of the Consumer Electronics Group who sponsors the world’s largest consumer technology tradeshow, CES. Mary has presented numerous keynotes and workshops on assistive technology across the globe.

Glenn is a certified CPA and former Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and partner in The Austin Company, a US based international firm offering architectural, engineering, design-build, and construction management services.

A specialist in corporate bankruptcy financial administration, Glenn is also a  Referral Partner at Global Risk Management Solutions GRMS), the worldwide leader in providing innovative risk mitigation solutions that ensure companies have the vital information that is crucial to making informed business decisions that will reduce exposure to global business risk and liability.

After graduating from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX, Glenn spent many years serving as the Vice President Controller of CRS Sirrine, at the time, one of the world’s largest architectural, engineering, construction management firms headquartered in Houston, TX.
